At 2717 42nd Road, we believe that a food hall is only as vibrant as the people behind the counters. Our mission has always been to bring the most authentic, soul-warming flavors of Asia to the heart of LIC, and that wouldn’t be possible without our incredible community of vendors.
From the bustling night markets of Chengdu to the cozy tea houses of Taiwan, our partners bring more than just food—they bring heritage, craftsmanship, and a passion for hospitality. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on the 10 culinary masters that make our food hall a true destination.
The Masters of Asian Flavor
1. Marathon Hong Kong Diner
Inspired by the traditional "cha chaan teng" culture, Marathon is a tribute to Hong Kong’s unique culinary fusion. Whether it’s their freshly made pineapple buns with salted butter or their signature milk tea, they bring the energy of a HK morning to LIC all day long.
2. Pho Vital
Patience is the secret ingredient here. Pho Vital’s aromatic broth is slow-simmered for hours to achieve a depth of flavor that recharges the soul. From traditional Gỏi Gà to crispy spring rolls, they offer a masterclass in Vietnamese tradition.
3. Gua Gua Bo Bo Chicken
Bringing the heat of Szechuan’s night markets, Gua Gua specializes in Bo Bo Chicken—a spicy, fragrant skewer dish that is as fun to eat as it is flavorful. Their street-food-inspired menu is a favorite for those seeking an authentic kick.
4. Taipei Hang
A bridge between Sichuan spice and Taiwanese comfort, Taipei Hang is famous for its Railway Bentos and authentic street snacks. They’ve successfully brought the heart of Taipei’s food stalls directly to our table.
5. Hunan Noodle (湖南嗦粉)
Coming straight from Flushing with a stellar reputation, Hunan Noodle brings the bold, spicy flavors of Changsha to LIC. Their legendary Black Stinky Tofu and Nanchang Dry Mix Noodles are absolute must-tries for any serious foodie.
6. Fat Cat Flatbread
Centuries of tradition are baked into every "Guokui" at Fat Cat. These crispy, oversized flatbreads come with a variety of fillings—from savory pork to sweet brown sugar—offering a satisfying crunch that tells a story in every bite.
7. Shimiaodao
The "10-second" noodle experts. Shimiaodao inherits the essence of Yunnan rice noodles, serving up steaming bowls of stock and fresh ingredients that transport diners to the colorful landscapes of Yunnan in an instant.
8. Duomi Rice Yogurt House
Health and indulgence coexist at Duomi. By blending nutrient-rich yogurt with wholesome grains and pure sugarcane, they’ve created a refreshing, guilt-free way to fuel your day.
9. Cozy Tea Loft
Quality is the cornerstone of Cozy Tea Loft. By sourcing the finest natural tea leaves and pairing them with local ingredients, they provide a sophisticated and diverse tea experience that caters to every palate.
10. U Ni Rice
Founded with the goal of bringing Okinawa-style rice balls to the world, U Ni Rice creates the perfect "on-the-go" meal. Their fresh, creative combinations prove that rice balls are the ultimate versatile snack.
